A BUSY TWO DAYS

Jamie Dornan and his fan base have had quite a persevering two days! Dornan has been on a lengthy promotional tour for his newest film Anthropoid, which hit theaters on August 12th. With a slight week-and-a-half-ish break in between his first round of promotion, which took place in the USA, Jamie was back at ‘er again this week promoting the film in the UK. But he wasn’t alone; co-star Cillian Murphy, director Sean Ellis and other cast members where there to mutually support each other, and the film.

On Tuesday while attending the official UK Premier, Jamie took a night off from being a dad and sported his lovely wife Amelia on his arm for the premier.

DOESN’T AMELIA LOOK RAVISHING?! She donned a simple multicoloured polka-dotted dress while Jamie went super-cas as well, sporting a blazer and plain white tee. The couple looked stunning on the red carpet together as paps snapped their pictures prior to the movie showing.

After the premier it was time for Jamie and Amelia to head back to their hotel to catch up on some much needed sleep as tomorrow would prove to be just as exciting. The couple are staying at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin while Dornan’s press tour continues.

Now onto day two (today) where Jamie has two stops to make. He recorded the Late Late Show (RTE) where there were very few photos released and only by fans. The show is set to air Jamie’s appearance on Friday September 2nd, 2016. Dornan was swept off to the Audi Dublin International Film Festival for another screening of Anthropoid. Accompanied by fellow cast, yet sans Amelia, Dornan was yet again super suave in nothing more than a button down blazer and plain white dress shirt, top buttons undone, of course. With a brief shining moment on the red carpet to answer questions from reporters, and a quick photo op with the rest of the cast, it was time for Dornan to step inside once more for what was another fantastic viewing of Anthropoid.

Many fans were finally able to see the film for the first time, and what better way to do so than with Jamie?!

But today wasn’t all about Anthropoid. Like the creepy serial killer he is, The Fall and BBC Two managed to squeeze some new Spector in right in the middle of the Anthropoid frenzy. This new still from Series 3 of The Fall, featuring our fave serial killer, also hit the internet today, with much surprise to the fans.

Spector ranks at the top of Jamie’s roles most loved by fans and even though it’s entirely creepy to totally fan-girl over a serial killer, we don’t care – and we’re glad that he was snuck in during such a crazy time. Although there’s still no premier date for when the third series will air, a Q&A with Jamie and co-star Gillian Anderson is set to take place in the UK on September 7th.

ALL HE NEEDS IS A PLAIN, WHITE TEE

Our eyeballs needed readjusting this morning when new pictures of Jamie spotted out at the market in Cotswolds, UK yesterday graced our news feeds and timelines. He looks well! Jamie’s been laying low for the past couple of weeks during down time from various press tours he’s currently working on. In nothing more than  jeans, a white tee and runners, Jamie effortlessly steals our hearts with a simple coffee in hand and bulging biceps.

Next week, Dornan resumes press junkets and public appearances for ‘Anthropoid’ making stops at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival, a Q&A and screening of the film alongside co-star Cillian Murphy and two talk shows. The week after that, Dornan embarks on press tours for the third series of ‘The Fall’ as well as his most anticipated project (I mean, we’ve only waited two years or so – no biggie,)  Liz Jensen’s psychological thriller, ‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax.’

With such a hectic schedule ahead of the Irish actor, it’s humbling to know that he’s taking whatever time he has at the moment to be the loving husband and doting father we’ve grown to love. We’ll see you next week, Jamie!

Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy don’t seem to be slowing down with the Anthropoid promotion any time soon. The pair are set to attend the Audi Dublin International Film Festival in Cineworld, Dublin for a screening of Anthropoid on August 31st, 2016.

The pair, alongside director Sean Ellis, have been on a cyclonic promotional spree for the movie which included a trip to NY in early August, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which took place in July and sporadic stops to various radio, television and internet outlets, all to advocate for the film.

The film has been acclaimed as one of the greatest war movies of all time and has surpassed expectations at the box office grossing more than two million since its August 12th, 2016 release. Bleecker Street, the films distributor, has also notified the public that more global destinations have been added to the films release however, many fans of Dornan and Murphy’s are still clinging to their seats, anticipating whether or not their country will in fact be privy to the film.
