On February 7, (previously recorded on UTV) Eamonn Mallie sat down with Jamie Dornan for his segment Face-to-Face; a hard hitting segment where those questions you dare not to ask or forever wanted answers to, are asked and in turn, answered.
It has to be one of the most honest, no-holds-barred interviews Jamie has ever done. And detailing the interview for you would do it no justice.
The forty-five minute interview is available to watch below and may we recommend that as a fan of Jamie, this is a must watch.
As part of Fifty Shades Freed promo and the premiere which took place in Paris, France, Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Rita Ora and Liam Payne (who have a collaboration on the Freed OST) stopped by C A Vous in Paris for a spectacular interview.
The interview is lengthy – yay! – and has been provided by C A Vous in two parts followed by a music performance.
The first part focuses solely on Jamie and Dakota where they’re asked about what gets them through those awkward sex scenes, what they do to prepare for them and how Paris is a change of scenery for the Premiere, usually held in London.
Because Paris is such an important part of the third book (and movie) it was only fitting to hold the premiere there. And what a change in scenery – what is normally a chaotic, loud (from the screaming) and overwhelming experience, Paris proved to be quite different where most of the screaming happens internally.
The interviews are in French with Jamie and Dakota’s voices dubbed over, but if you listen closely enough, you can hear them responding in English.

During the first part of the second clip, the interviewers took Dakota down memory lane with old red carpet interviews from her childhood and even the milk ad she was in with mom Melanie. She was even shown an interview of her mom from back in the day that had her feeling emotional; she had never seen it before.
Jamie was asked about his modelling days and working alongside models like Kate Moss and Eva Mendes for noteable agencies including Hugo Boss, Armani, Calvin Klein and Dior.
The second part of the interview invites Rita Ora (who plays Mia Grey, Christian’s sister) and Liam Payne who collaborated on the Fifty Shades Freed anthem ‘For You.’
Rita and Liam even performed ‘For You’ live, while Jamie and Dakota watched. Watch them belt out the song below.
There aren’t many photos from the interview but anything we have you can find in thegallery.
On Monday February 5, Jamie streamed a live interview on the ITV Morning Show, Lorraine.
Jamie was in Paris for the premiere of Fifty Shades Freed at the time, hence why the interview was streamed. Although short, Jamie talks about the film and those raunchy sex scenes that Millie hasn’t seen. Although it’s not something the couple expects they’ll ever do, Millie has always supported Jamie in the risqué films.
On January 24, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johsnon attended a press conference and photocall for Fifty Shades Freed in Los Angeles, California. Thanks to some of the journalists and reporters who attended and for bringing the event to our attention, we got a glimpse at the press conference as it unfolded in the late afternoon on Wednesday. Oh to be a fly on the wall!
The Fifty Shades Freed stars also posed for some beautiful portraits both together and individually. Here’s a glimpse at a few of them but feel free to click the thumbnails to view them all in the gallery.
The interviews should be released in the coming weeks as we countdown to the release date of the final film in the FIfty Shades franchise.
Jamie stopped by The Graham Norton Show on Friday January 19 (recorded January 18) and got comfy on his burnished orange couch next to Dame Helen Mirren and fellow Northern Irishman Liam Neeson, for his fourth guest appearance on the program which aired on BBC One.
Jamie is no stranger to the show having indulged in Graham’s hilarity thrice before. And with each new time, Jamie gets more candid and somehow, even funnier than we already know and love him to be.
He talked about his daughters, the smitten father that he is, upcoming movie Fifty Shades Freed – the third and final in the film franchise, an awkward fan encounter in the washroom and even told a funny story from his teenage years that had to do with the hair from a wig and his cough lower bits cough. But we’re not going to spoil it for you – it wouldn’t do the interview justice so you’ll have to watch it yourself!
Jamie gave away some behind the scenes secrets to Fifty Shades Freed, leaving fans a little disappointed that a particular scene, which is regularly shown in trailers, TV spots and advertisements alike, didn’t make the final cut. Jamie was quickly forgiven by following up the heartbroken ‘awes’ of the audience with a clip from the movie showing Christian and Ana discussing having children over dinner. You can watch that clip here!
From that clip, we’ve added 64 HD screencaps to the gallery.
As for the interview itself, it’s something you have to watch to fully enjoy. So, make yourself a cup of tea, cozy up and watch it here.
