Another one of Jamie’s films has landed a quart of nominations at this years Canadian Leo Awards. Alexandre Aja’s film adaption of Liz Jensen’s psychological thriller, The 9th Life of Louis Drax has landed four nominations at this year’s Leo Awards being held at the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver, BC.

Although Jamie himself is not nominated for an award, it’s nice to see that the film is being recognized in the Canadian Film Industry.

Over the course of three days the nominations will be awarded to their respective winners and here’s hoping Louis Drax wins in all four of its nominated categories!

An exclusive clip for Jamie’s upcoming film ‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax‘ was released today via Entertainment Weekly. The clip offers insight into Louis’ father, Peter, and that he’s become a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into Louis’ fall. Watch the clip above or here!

FIRST LOOK AT 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX POSTER

We have out very first official 9th Life of Louis Drax movie poster! The poster is specific to Portugal and there’s no word yet on whether this will be the official movie poster adopted nationwide, or not. But still, it’s kind of cool!

The movie keeps receiving sporadic releases around the world. Today, it was announced that Canada would only get a limited release in theaters located in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal – you know, the big ones. The UK will get the film internationally on September 2nd, 2016 while things still look a little undecided for the US. We know the release date with be September 2nd as well, but no news on whether it’s limited or nationwide. We’ll be sure to update the site once we know.

JADOTVILLE – A NETFLIX ORIGINAL

Jamie filmed a lot of movies last summer and we’re finally getting some news on all of them! Jadotville, a Netflix Original movie is among his many projects from 2015. This still was released today and is the first official still from the movie. Jamie plays Commander Pat Quinlan and the movie is based on a true story.

The movie does not have a release date for Netflix as of yet but with all the buzz and official still being released, it’s bound to be sometime in the near future. The movie is also set to premier at The Fleadh on July 9

GREAT NEWS! Jamie will return to @KVIFFEST in Prague to attend the World Premier of Nazi Thriller Anthropoid, in which he plays alongside Cillian Murphy. The World Premier is set to take place on July 1st, 2016, a bit more than a month away.

Dornan has worked on several projects since completing filming of the first Fifty Shades of Grey movie back in 2014, but fans have not been privy to any of these ventures even though we’ve followed them through to their completion. Both Anthropoid and The Ninth Life of Louis Drax are works that the fans have been dying to see and now, it looks as though we’re getting our wish. Just this past week news of Drax’s September 2016 UK release date hit the internet and fans went ballistic.

It’s been nothing short of an amazing week for Dornan, and his fans alike. He continues to film Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed in Vancouver until mid June at which time he’ll return home, some place he hasn’t been in what must feel like forever.
