TWO IRISH STUDS graced RTE’s Late Late Show on Friday evening in the season opener of the show and our eyeballs were throbbing. Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy sat down to chat with host Ryan Tubridy about current and upcoming projects, family life, being in the public eye and even had a few jokes along the way.

The pair have been on a nation wide press tour together and have developed a friendship that is clearly evident to the public and fans. The pair often joke or boast about each other while throwing in some inside jokes that even we feel we’re in on. Cillian gloats about co-star Jamie throughout the interview, citing that he would “…binge watch the Fall with his wife,” speaking highly of the character of Paul Spector. Ryan even went as far as to ask Jamie a burning question we were all dying to know the truth about; did he really stalk a woman to prepare for his role as Spector in The Fall? Dornan’s response “…I observed someone on a tube once,” citing that he didn’t ‘stalk’ a women per se, rather experimented with the idea.

Dornan went on to discuss Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, citing that production wrapped a mere four weeks ago after both films were filmed back to back. But what came to our surprise the most was news about The Fall. As Jamie had mentioned earlier today on an interview with BBC Radio, it was reiterated that The Fall would be having its third series premier at towards the end of September, a date much sooner than the fans collectively anticipated! There is still no official premier date as of yet but at least we now have a general idea. EXCITING!

The pair continued to laugh and giggle and share jokes with each other for the duration of the program, taking a minute to talk about life in the limelight and how they deal with that on a personal level. “It’s not that hard,” Dornan says, explaining that it’s a frame of mind, something you remove yourself from. He spoke beautifully and breifly about his wife, being the private man that he is, and we were happy to know that Amelia is doing well.

But can we talk about how good these two men have looked consistently throughout these past few days? The pair have rocked a tasteful and crisp collection of clothing through this weeks press tour. Cillian all dapper in dark’s while Jamie has bestowed his signature blue colour on us; in clean cut blazers and suits tailored even better than Christian Grey’s, a simple white tee or dress shirt and jeans that accentuate his beautiful behind, Jamie has dressed to impress all week long sending both fans and paparazzi into hysteria. With his beard in full bloom, our favourite Irishman is definitely taking some much needed time to get back to him, his family and the things (and people) he loves. The show ended with news of The Fall’s September premier date and enthusiastic applause, accompanied by a few hoots and hollers – and rightly so.

E L JAMES HOSTS EPIC DAY ON INSTGRAM

OK, so just when you thought filming had wrapped and the movie was heading into production, you’re side blinded yet again. E L James hosted an epic day of Fifty Shades Takeover on the official Fifty Shades Instagram Page today and pretty much won the internet. Needless to say, she’s our hero. She delivered on a scale that is completely unattainable by anyone else.

We’ve all enjoyed the IG takeovers by the cast and crew this year, mainly because it’s such a unique idea and we’ve never seen a franchise do it before. Castmates such as Brant Daughtery and Eloise Mumford shared stories from their time on set of production this year but none have been able to deliver quite like Erika.

The Fifty Shades Trilogy author has always been fan driven and notably provides the fans what they so desperately seek, so it’s no wonder we were privy to such an in depth look into her view of behind the scenes mixed with a plethora of pictures of Jamie and Dakota.

EL JAMES POSTS NEW PHOTO OF JAMIE ON SET OF FIFTY SHADES FREED IN FRANCE

It was announced earlier today that E L James would take over the @FiftyShadesMovie Instagram account to share pictures from her days spent on Paloma Beach in France while filming Fifty Shades Freed last week. Of course fans got excited and immediately started anticipating pictures from the Author, and boy did she deliver. Erika posted this photo of Jamie which was arguably the one photo of Jamie that fans were dying to see. How did we know this picture existed?

While in France, paparazzi snapped a picture of Erika taking this photo of Jamie and we’ve all been dying to see it since! Erika yet again has not disappointed her or the fandom as we continue to stalk the Instagram account for other pictures that offer insight into Erika’s world of Fifty Shades.

FIFTY SHADES VISITS THE OPERA

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson looked like pure royalty when they stopped to visit with fans yesterday while filming scenes at the Opera Garnier in Paris, France. Dressed in a blue suit and tie fit for a king, Dornan looked undeniably handsome while his co-star Dakota Johnson looked super chic in a red laced dress. 

The pair are off to The Louvre today to film what will be the last scene for the movie franchise. Although the end of filming marks a bittersweet ending for Fifty Shades, Dornan and Johnson fans alike, it also means that production on both films will soon commence.

PARIS LOVES JAMIE

In the middle of all the chaotic Fifty Shades Darker and Freed filming, Jamie still remains his humble self. The Fifty Shades star took some time to sign autographs and take pictures with fans today outside of his Paris hotel. The crowd was massive beyond comprehension but that didn’t phase Dornan, who has grown accustomed to the onslaught of fans who now follow his career.
It’s so humbling to know that Jamie isn’t too busy for his fans and takes the time to take care of them. Many have came from far and wide to see the star and for him to take some time out of his hectic schedule to greet fans has warmed hearts everywhere.
