WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON’T?

News came much to the surprise of the Fifty Shades of Grey fandom today that a crucial member of the trilogy’s cast had finally been added. Bella Heathcote will play the strange, mentally ill and elusive Leila Williams, Christian Grey’s ex-submissive in both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.

Leila is a crucial part to the series and plays a very cryptic role. After finding a picture of her ex-dom and his new girlfriend at Ana’s graduation, Leila goes on the hunt for Ana, seeking answers as to what makes Ana different from Leila, and all the rest (of Christian’s past submissives.) As Christian has never publicly had a girlfriend before, only submissives, Leila’s interests are piqued and she sets out on a quest to confront Ana and Christian – but it gets creepy along the way. She stalks Christian’s apartment, watches them sleep and even pulls a gun on Ana. It’s a crucial moment in the story that leads to Christian breaking down, allowing his walls to crumble and finally letting Ana in. Without Leila, Christian may have never been forced to face his demons.

Heathcote is a popular actress who hails from down unda, Australia. Her work includes Dark Shadows opposite Johnny Depp and In Time opposite Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake. However, it was her work as Victoria Winters in Dark Shadows that proves she’s capable of taking on the challenging role of Williams. Her glassy blue eyes and pale, light skin are all attributes well associated with the delusional Leila. Fans have taken to the news extremely well, welcoming her into the #FiftyFamily and spreading nothing but positive feedback regarding the casting choice.

Fifty Shades Darker and Freed will film simultaneously in Vancouver, BC, Canada and for a few days in Paris, France beginning February 16th, 2016 through mid July 2016. Darker is slated to release on February 10th, 2017 while Freed will release just shy of a year later on February 9th, 2018.

FIFTY SHADES HITS PARIS

News regarding the filming of the Fifty Shades franchise was released via The Hollywood Reporter today claiming that the trilogy is headed to Paris. This doesn’t come as a surprise to Jamie, Dakota and Fifty fans alike. Enthusiasts of the trilogy we’re highly attuned to the possibility that filming in the country of love may happen as after Christian and Ana wed in Fifty Shades Freed, they honeymoon in Paris, among other European locations. Author E L James has always wanted the films’ reflection of the novels to be depicted with as much accuracy as possible which is why Paris comes as no surprise, but exciting nonetheless!

The Hollywood Reporter explained that ‘ “Darker, the next installment of the hit Fifty Shades trilogy, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, will shoot for several days in Paris “within the first six months” of this year, film officials said,’ however, we believe the filming taking place will be for Freed.

Darker and Freed are being filmed simultaneously during a six month period, slated to begin on February 16th, 2016 and end mid July 2016.

THE BEARD IS GONE

Jamie snapped a picture with a fan, beer in hand, at an airport today. We’re still waiting to hear which airport he was at when the picture was snapped.

Should we hold a funeral for the beard, because it’s gone – no doubt in preparation for Fifty Shades Darker/Freed filming. We’ll miss it. RIP Jamie’s beard.

CHRISTIAN GREY HAS LANDED

Well this is quite a story so bare with us for a moment while we go from start to finish.

Saturday morning at approximately 3:30am EST, EJD came across a photo, which included Jamie’s handwriting and legendary signature made out on a piece of  Club World stationery. Club World is the First Class Cabin on British Airways. We immediately contacted the source for information, and after a few hours, they generously replied. Below are details which were told to us, verbatim:

When asked if they could elaborate on the picture they posted of Jamie’s autograph:

Source: “… All I can say was that he was a pleasant and charming gentleman, nicely dressed in skinny jeans, a tight-fitting tee shirt and spoke softly in his Northern-Irish accent. He had a good sleep in the flat-bed seats of our Club World Cabin. He is in Vancouver for filming. He looks in very good shape from a fitness point of view and is currently clean-shaven. I hope this helps, but please don’t use my name in any conversations about him.”

Source: “…He’s an extremely nice guy, which is always refreshing as some celebs can be quite ‘up themselves’ when not on the stage or tv etc. Definitely looks like he’s been working hard in the gym since I saw him in the movie!”

When asked if Jamie was with Amelia and D:

Source: “No, he was all alone, as it was a working trip for him. I asked if he was here for the skiing, but he said “No, I wish.” I was actually the only person that recognised him, as I’d seen the movie with my wife. Other crew hadn’t seen it and most of the business men around him hadn’t a clue who he was! We had Matt Damon a few weeks ago and Jude Law before Christmas. Over the last 20 years, I’ve seen quite a few as I often work in First Class.”

When asked if they knew if Jamie was returning to the UK before filming starts:

Source: “He’s returning to the UK but I can’t tell you when. He’ll be in town for a few days though.”

The Source has given us consent to quote them but has asked that their name not be mentioned.

There has, understandably, been some doubt regarding this and whether or not our source is credible. Albeit, the details are extraordinary, but this source has claimed to have met many celebrities during his time with BA and thus, would probably know what to ask.
