DORNAN MAKES CO-ANTRIM WOMAN’S DREAM COME TRUE<\/strong><\/p>\n

January 27th, 2016<\/em> will be a day that Heather Mack<\/strong> will remember for the rest of her life. It was Heather’s<\/strong> wish to one day meet, who she enthusiastically calls ‘her man’<\/em>, The Fall<\/strong> and Fifty Shades of Grey<\/strong> star, Jamie Dornan<\/strong>. Heather<\/strong>, who is a trainee at Stepping Stones Northern Ireland<\/a>, who’s goal is to encourage training towards employment for those with a learning disability, was all starry-eyed<\/em> when the day came that she finally met ‘her man.’<\/em><\/p>\n

But how did this all happen?<\/em> Ciara Brennan,<\/strong> who works for Stepping Stones NI<\/strong>, was presented with the challenging opportunity by her boss to make it all happen. Without hesitation, Ciara<\/strong> made it her mission to ensure that Heather<\/strong> got her wish. She posted to her own Facebook profile<\/em>, asking to help spread Heather’s<\/strong> wish and her plea did not go unnoticed. With more than 450 shares,<\/em> the word had most definitely gotten around.<\/p>\n

And so the day came to meet Jamie, and Heather and Ciara both braved the cool Northern Ireland air awaiting. Jamie did not disappoint. Dornan<\/b>, without hesitation,\u00a0took some time off of the set of The Fall<\/strong> on Wednesday<\/em> to meet, speak with and have a few laughs with Heather.<\/strong> They exchanged pleasantries, spoke about Heather’s<\/strong> Pink Elephant Cards<\/em>, snapped some pictures and Jamie<\/strong> even signed some paraphernalia including T-shirts, pictures and an adult colouring book where Dornan<\/strong> is the subject. Heather also gifted Jamie and wife Amelia<\/strong> a picture frame for their new baby due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. <\/em>The picture frame was made by trainees <\/em>at Stepping Stones no guild commended Picture Framing Service<\/em>, which we’re sure is a stunning piece of work.<\/p>\n

Other cast members of The Fall<\/strong> including Niamh McGrady<\/strong> and John Lynch<\/strong>, also made an appearance and took some time to snap some photos with Heather<\/strong> as well. Talk about a star-studded afternoon!<\/p>\n

The story has received a lot of attention from local news outlets, blog sites and fan sites and has touched Jamie<\/strong> fans from around the world.\u00a0We’ve always known Dornan<\/strong> to be a kind-hearted man, but Jamie<\/strong> took more time with Heather<\/strong> than us as fans have ever seen. His smile was genuine<\/em>, his intentions were pure<\/strong> and his heart was gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
