First glimpse at the official Fifty Shades Freed Teaser, official posters and when the full length trailer will drop.

Well, Sunday sure was a day to remember! Not only did I get to meet Jamie but an Official Teaser for Fifty Shades Freed along with two official posters were dangled in front of us like a worm on a hook and boy, did we take the bait!

Watch the teaser below so we can discuss afterwards!

Amazing, right?

OK, so where do we start? The wedding? Christian’s spoken vows? (Insert heart eyes) A jet and a jet ski? Shirtless Christian on the beaches of Paris, Ana perfectly depicting how we’d all gawk at him? What about that gun Ana finds or that high speed chase? The Red Room?! Or guns being shot off left right and center? GAH! It’s all terribly exciting as we begin to pierce the lining of E L James’ third and final installment of the Fifty Shades Trilogy. Admittedly, most of you reading this know what happens and can tell from the trailer which scene is which. But that takes nothing away from it, whatsoever.

And can we talk about that slogan? ‘Mrs. Grey will see you now’? Genius, right? Genius.

The end of the teaser reveals that the official full length trailer is set to drop in November with no definitive date. But until then, we also have two beautiful official posters to gawk at in the meantime!

The official domestic (light) and international (dark) posters were revealed on Sunday afternoon as well, as this is all in celebration of what was Ana’s 28th Birthday.

So, do you think the teaser and posters will you keep you content until November? Well, it’s got to! You don’t want to rush what is our final ride on this Fifty Shades rollercoaster. Sit back, embrace it and soak it all in. Because in just a few short months, it all comes to a theatrical end.

Can’t wait for November!

WE’RE CRAZY IN LOVE WITH THE NEW FIFTY SHADES DARKER TRAILER

With sixty-six days to go, Fifty Shades debuted a second trailer for the hotly anticipated second installment to the movie franchise, Fifty Shades Darker. With a cluster of new, never-before-seen moments, the trailer has ignited across social media and is a current worldwide trending topic.

Watch the trailer below before we start discussing! (NSFW)

The trailer, released only hours ago shows us more than we were expecting in the 2:29 it runs for. It starts like the last trailer – Christian proclaiming his feelings for Anastasia, five days post-breakup. “I’m not very good at this. I never wanted to try again,” but with Ana, things are different. Christian is different. He sends Ana white roses prior to surprising her at José’s photo exhibit, where he asks her to dinner. “Have dinner with me,” he pleads to which Ana (with her smart mouth) replies “OK fine. I will have dinner with you, because I’m hungry. But we are only talking and that’s it,” which we as readers of the novels know will not be the case. The next scene in which we see Ana paying for meal, much to Christian’s dismay, is not the scene in which they go for dinner after the show but it still showcases the humour that we hoped director James Foley would incorporate from the first film. Ana takes the cheque dropped off by the waiter and adds a subtle “Gotta be quicker than that, Grey,” as she reaches for her wallet.

Kate has returned from her trip to Barbados with Elliot and we can see Ana jumping into her arms at the bar we saw in the first film. Since Kate has been away for most of the unfolding drama, she knows nothing of what’s happened. Kate wraps Ana in her arms and asks “Are you happy?” to which Ana quickly replies “I’ve never been happier.”

Let’s jump to a steamy, romantic dinner between Christian and Ana where things quickly get hot, hot, HOT! Christian, ever the gentleman and always the dominant, leans over the table covered in glasses of wine and fine silver and simply tells Anastasia to “…take ’em off.” At this point, the two have solidified their relationship and are moving forward from the traumatic experiences they both suffered in the first movie. Anastasia complies and deftly removes her panties while remaining at the table. What happens next has all types of bothered. If you’ve read the books, you know that in the next scene that is shown, Christian isn’t being a gentleman, at all! While his fingers deftly ride up the back of Anastasia’s legs in a crowded elevator after dinner, her expression says it all and exactly what Christian is doing with her. We’re then catapulted into the shower scene; a sexy, heated take that find Christian and Ana fully clothed going at it in his extravagant bathroom – a scene a lot of fans were hoping to see! That clip is then followed by the pool scene; not a swimming pool. Ana and Christian are playing the game with cues, after making a bet with each other. The prize?! Sex, in each their own way.

Finally, we get to see some Jack! Eric Johnson who plays Ana’s intrusive new boss at SIP feels compelled to tell Ana his personal feelings towards her new beau. “Your boyfriend has a reputation,” he says, eluding that he may know more about Christian’s past than he leads us to believe. “Do you want to be kept, or have respect,” he whispers to Ana while having her pinned between himself and a door, then watches her stride away. Creepy!

Let’s jump to a new shower scene where Ana is freely touching Christian. This time, they’re not fully clothed but enjoying a shower as they should with each other. Enter Mrs. Robinson. Yes we’ve seen Elena (Kim Basinger) in the previous trailer with a voice over part, but never before have we seen her so abruptly with the voice over now matching her voice. “Do you think you’re the first woman who’s tried to save him,” she asks Ana. “He’s changing. Its not what he wants anymore,” Ana retorts, to which Elena firmly suggests “…but it’s what he needs.” Ana and Christian are also seen sleeping in the same bed together, which was previously one of Christian’s rules, now broken. We then get a flash of scenes; one of Ana in Christian stealing a kiss from each other and a quick glance at Leila (Christian’s ex submissive) stalking Ana from afar as she exits SIP with Jack.

Our hearts immediately jump into our throats with what we see next – In the first trailer we saw Charlie Tango going down but this time, we see it crash! Although we know Christian ends up with only a few scratches in the end, seeing what we’ve read come to life has definitely got us emotional.

In quick five frame segments, we then we quickly examine the next set of scenes flashing before our eyes: Christian on his knees in front of a topless Ana, a sexy scene which has Ana arching her back in wanton, Christian picking Ana up while in his gym and placing her on a piece of equipment as he rips open his shirt, and a sexy whisper at the masquerade ball. We then climb up Ana’s legs, adorned in high fashion lingerie while Christian’s stares from across the room. “You just going to stand there gawking,” she asks, to which he quickly replies “Yes.”

We’re then blasted yet again into quick segments showcasing the drama, the secrets, the past all coming back to haunt Christian. No matter how hard he tries, his past is catching up with him and it’s time to face those demons.

The lasts scene from the new trailer truly does have us in fifty shades of emotions. From sadness, to anger, to love and hope, we get our first glance at submissive Christian, who falls to his knees after he thinks Ana is leaving him. In a heart tugging move, Christian grabs Ana’s hand and places it upon his bare chest; an action he has trusted no one to accomplish before.

The entirety of the trailer is consumed by Miguel’s version of ‘Crazy in Love’ by Beyoncé and we think it adds just the right touch. Miguel is still hard at work in the studio finalizing the version for film.

So, what did you think? Was it everything you hoped for and more? We’d love to hear your thoughts and comments so please do so by leaving them in the comment section below.

On a personal note, of all the trailers released, this is by far EJD’s favourite. It’s shown that the films are staying true to the books and that those little scenes that often don’t make it into the movies (because some consider them less important) are indeed being accounted for. It’s those small scenes that make the difference; they’re the scenes that build the foundation of the story and missing them in the movie is always heart breaking. We’re thankful Team Fifty is working so hard behind the scenes to make sure we get the best of the best!

But that’s not all the news we were hit with today! As members of the #OfficialFifty Campaign for Darker, we are more than excited to share the premiere news with you! The official premiere will be held in Los Angeles where cast and crew will be in attendance. The premier has been set for February 2nd, 2017 – eight days prior to the worldwide release. Jamie, Dakota, Erika and multitude of cast will be there enjoying the day with us.

LATIN GRAMMY’S SHOWCASE NEW DARKER TV SPOT, AND IT’S HOT!

It’s not just darker anymore. It’s hot hot, HOT!

A new Fifty Shades Darker TV spot premiered during the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards and before we start totally fan-girling by freaking out and saying the first thing that comes to our minds sans filter, watch it below and then indulge in the discussion!

Great, right?! Not many things can get you so easily excited in only forty-five seconds so this is the exception. In this quick TV spot, we see some scenes we’ve seen before (because they can’t give absolutely everything away, obviously) and others that clearly haven’t met our eyeballs until now!

The second film finds Christian and Ana reconnecting and boy it looks like they’re doing just fine! In two separate scenes, the pair are seen exploring their new found sexual freedom as an actual couple after Christian realizes he can’t be without Ana. Ya, we’re just cutting to the chase here.

We even got some extra glimpses of Leila, Christian’s ex sub on the hunt for Ana and Jack, Ana’s super handsy, lacking boundaries, boss – The parts of the film that will offer up the most action and a glimpse into Christian’s troubled past. A darker past. Which Ana is unknowingly changing. So much so that, well… Let’s just say there’s lots of hearts and flowers.

Be sure to watch the new TV spot until your head explodes and even re watch the full length trailer here.

We’ve also added 29 new HD screencaps from the new Latin TV spot to our gallery. Check them out below!

JAMIE FOR ICON EL PAÍS – ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Jamie recently sat down with ICON EL PAÍS to discuss The Fall, Fifty Shades of Grey and his time spent as a teen with friends Eddie Redmayne and Andrew Garfield. Although the article was originally printed in Spanish, EJD has spent some time translating the article into proper English. Read below and enjoy!

It took one decade for the ex model from Belfast to be acknowledged as an actor. Now, Jamie Dornan fights to get rid of Grey’s shadow. Thanks to roles like the psychopath in “The Fall” or the heroic soldier from “The Siege of Jadotville” (the Netflix Original that will be released on Netflix October 7th,) it looks like he won’t need to wait another decade this time. He talked to us in an exclusive interview for ICON.

There are Twitter accounts dedicated to celebrating the shapes of his arms. Advertising images where this ex-model appeared cuddled up with Kate Moss, or smeared with oil along with Eva Mendes, form part of the popular imagery of the past decade. Media as prestigious as The New York Times nicknamed him ‘The Golden Torso’ and a trailer for the second installment of the Fifty Shades series – where he plays the most mysterious icon of our age: a millionaire fond of sadomasochistic sex – sent millions of fans into a frenzy counting down the days until the premiere (February 10, 2017). Jamie Dornan, however, is the one that seems to care the least. Northern Ireland’s 34 year old clearly wants to offer something more than a godlike physique. He could have spent his days signing a never ending stream of advertising contracts while continuing to be shown half naked but instead decided to pursue acting. After facing some criticism, Dornan landed the role in the UK television series ‘The Fall’, where he plays a psychopath from his native city of Belfast. The Fall has just released its third season, and it’s in that television series that Dornan proves his depth as an actor. His latest film, a stark contrast to his role as Christian Grey, also showcases Dornan’s talent. ‘The Siege of Jadotville,’ which debuts on Netflix October 7, is inspired by a true story. In 1961, during the war of Katanga, a secessionist province of Congo, an Irish battalion of 150 soldiers sent by the United Nations was attacked by some 3000 men of the local army assisted by French and Belgian mercenaries. There were five days of fierce fighting, but this battle was excluded from the official history of Ireland. “I had no idea about this battle. It was kept secret for years for several reasons, which I find embarrassing since it shows Irish heroics on a large scale” He explains in his County Down accent, after a photo shoot in which he had been amicable and sociable, spontaneous and somewhat foul-mouthed.

Why did you get into the film business?
I don’t have the proper attitude for working in an office. From a young age, I knew that I was not that kind of person. I lack the patience to sit in front of a computer. I had no idea what I would do, but I think that all those who work in film feel compelled at a young age. I started theatre at the age of 13; I wanted to be a different person and express myself accordingly than my friends on the rugby team. It was clear I wanted to be an actor. I felt comfortable in a world that allowed me to be the person people weren’t expecting me to be.
