Jamie Dornan interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel, toasts to late friend and idol, Don Rickles

A toast to Don.

Jamie joined Jimmy Kimmel in LA on January 31 for Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the two began the sit down with a toast to the legendary Don Rickles. A mutual bond between the two bloomed when Jamie last visited Kimmel where they spoke animatedly abour Rickles who passed away on April 6th, 2017. Cheers, Don.

As part of Fifty Shades Promotion, a clip was played from the film (which we’ve already seen) as well as Jamie providing some insight into his relationship with co-star Dakota Johnson. “This is gonna sound bad but it’s almost like, brother/sister,” Jamie explained. “You just sort of have this mutual love and respect for each other and I feel like we know each other so well.”

Jamie also revisited a recent story he’s told about his on-set modesty pouch – and how ‘Inmate #3″ was sewed into the inside of the one he personally picked and liked. “I just sort of like, mind over matter. Just close my eyes and you tie it in a wee bow.”

Jamie also discussed what it was like watching Fifty Shades Freed for the first time, and the awkward situation he was in while watching it. “But they won’t let you watch it alone in case you film it or whatever. As if I’m going to film it! (…) So I watch it with a security guard, yeah like this really big guy, just the two of us. I had gone out for a few pints before to get myself, like, you know, in the mood. But I drank quite a lot of beer and I just needed the toilet like, the entire time so I missed half the movie just peeing. And then he needed to pee. Anyway, and then all the sex… By the end I’d be literally watching it like this (curls over and covers face) and I got up at the end and he was like, ‘That was great man!’ like high five! ‘You just watched me simulate sex for two hours.’ It was very strange”

And to cap it off in true Jamie fashion, he and Jimmy wrapPED up the interview with a conversation about Jamie’s dad Jim, how many babies he’s delivered, (over 6, 000) and Circular Soccer.

Here are also some pictures of Jamie both arriving to the show, with wife Amelia, and stopping to meet with fans after the show.

JAMIE DORNAN MAKES SURPRISE CAMEO ON JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE

Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day and while we’re all probably recovering from some pretty brutal hangovers, Jamie Dornan may have a few Irish terms for the way you were more than likely feeling last night.

Dornan made a cameo on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night where he sat in a bar, drinking a beer and shared some of (Northern) Ireland’s slang terms for the word ‘drunk.’ While there are some we’ve both said and heard of before, Dornan highlights some very unorthodox, potty-mouthed terms that even he has a hard time saying with a straight face. He gives up a few giggles and some pretty awesome facial expressions which make the video everything we could have asked for in celebration of Dornan’s Irish heritage.

Judging by the outfit he’s wearing, it looks as though Dornan filmed the segment when he was in LA for the Oscars (which Kimmel hosted).

Jamie spews off some pretty rough terminology and we can all, at some point, relate. We’ll be using these words in drunken stupors on Saturday nights and be the life of the party.

You can view all of Jamie’s 41 Irish Terms For Drunk – words – and his epic facial expressions in screencaps available in the gallery.
